Welcome from the Governing Board

The Governing Board of The Park Schools Federation is committed to ensuring that every child receives the highest quality education and opportunities to succeed.

Governors work closely with school leaders to support, challenge and monitor the work of the Federation. Our role is strategic rather than operational, providing oversight of educational standards, financial performance, safeguarding, and the long-term direction of the school.

The Three Core Functions of the Governing Board

The Governing Board's strategic responsibilities are to:

• Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
• Hold the Executive Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and for the performance management of staff.
• Oversee the financial performance of the school and ensure money is well spent.
